Upcoming Events and Programs

HIM Powered's 2027 scholarship  (Vanda Moody Jacobs Scholarship Award) will be awarded April 2027, during an awards ceremony (location is TBD).  This scholarship award has been developed to give a college-bound high school senior a chance to voice their views on anti-bullying or suicide prevention.  This is aimed at helping to save the lives of their peers, while getting the opportunity to win scholarship funds to help with first-year college needs.

College-bound high school seniors who reside in the Central/South Florida areas can quality by applying online (See the link below.) and connecting to the HIM Powered Facebook and/or Instagram pages so that their campaigns are visible to the scholarship committee.  

 

It is our mission to provide scholarships annually, so we ask for help from the community.  We ask that you consider supporting this cause by making a donation of any size.  Not only will the funds raised by the HIM Powered be used for scholarships, but we will also provide funds to students to aid in buying school clothes and supplies in the Fall.
